With over 16 years of hands-on experience within German public social systems, I support organisations in Germany and internationally in strengthening how migration, integration, child protection, and social welfare services are designed and delivered. My work focuses on making complex systems more coherent, more humane, and more effective in practice, not just on paper.

My role is to bridge strategic intent and day-to-day reality, translating policy frameworks (such as the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum), legal mandates, and international standards into operational approaches that frontline teams can apply with confidence, clarity, and cultural awareness.

Key Areas of Expertise

• Migration & Integration System Advisory Supporting organisations to move beyond administrative compliance towards integration approaches that foster social participation, dignity, and sustainable workforce inclusion. I provide specialized guidance on navigating the operational shifts required by the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum, ensuring local implementation aligns with German and European integration priorities.

• Child & Youth Protection Frameworks: Drawing on extensive experience within the German Jugendamt, I advise on safeguarding structures, family support pathways, and inter-agency cooperation that protect children while strengthening families. This includes a dedicated focus on youth in migration contexts, ensuring that “best interest of the child” assessments are functionally integrated into asylum and relocation procedures.

• Social Protection & Welfare System Strengthening: Advising on the design and improvement of social support systems that balance legal robustness with human-centred practice, particularly for vulnerable and displaced populations navigating new European legislative frameworks.

• Africa–Europe Cooperation: Providing cultural mediation, strategic facilitation, and contextual insight for transnational initiatives, with particular expertise in East Africa–Europe partnerships and international development cooperation.

• Capacity Building & Practice-Oriented Training: Supporting teams through tailored training and reflective learning that strengthens cross-cultural competence, ethical decision-making, and system literacy across diverse institutional settings.
